Payment for Vacation Leave. Vacation leaves may be taken in any time increments accommodated by current Ohio University payroll software. Vacation pay shall be paid in advance to those employees taking a vacation of one (1) week or more, and who request such pay at least three (3) weeks in advance of the vacation. Employees shall forfeit their right to take or to be paid for any vacation leave to their credit which is in excess of the accrual for three (3) years. Such excess leave shall be eliminated from employees' leave balances.
