Payment of Sick Leave Benefits. ‌ Accumulated sick leave pay shall be payable at the rate of one (1) day’s pay (or portion thereof) for each day (or portion thereof) of absence. A doctor’s certificate may be required for verification purposes after three (3) days or more of sick use if requested by the Employer, per WAC 296-128. Medical verification or certification for an employee shall be applied in accordance with RCW 49.46 and WAC 296-128.
