Payment of Unused Sick Leave on Retirement or Death. Upon the retirement or death of an employee, the employee or his beneficiary shall receive compensation for unused, accumulated sick leave up to a maximum of: 165 days at $55.00 per day for each day of unused sick leave.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.
