Peer Fitness Trainers a. The Chief of the Department, or his/her designated representative, in conjunction with the Local 311 President, shall select five (5) qualified employees as Peer Fitness Trainers. One of which shall be selected as a lead Peer Fitness Trainer.

Peer Fitness Trainers. The Department shall certify 3 IAFF Peer fitness trainers to assist in the fitness training of on duty firefighters. The peer fitness trainer will be available to develop a personalized exercise program for each employee if requested. The peer fitness trainers shall administer the Aerobic Capacity and Flexibility evaluation in conjunction with a member of the management team. The peer fitness trainers shall perform the duty of fitness trainer when in an off duty status. The Chief shall develop and review the peer fitness trainers schedule with the Labor Management Committee. Note: The HCE will administer the Aerobic Capacity Evaluation for the spouse.   • Security Awareness Training 1. The Contractor’s employees, Subcontractors/Vendors, and volunteers handling confidential, sensitive and/or personal identifying information must complete the required CDA Security Awareness Training module located at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xx.xxx/ProgramsProviders/#Resources within thirty (30) days of the start date of the Contract/Agreement, within thirty (30) days of the start date of any new employee, Subcontractor, Vendor or volunteer’s employment and annually thereafter.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Outpatient Dental Anesthesia Services This plan covers anesthesia services received in connection with a dental service when provided in a hospital or freestanding ambulatory surgical center and: • the use of this is medically necessary; and • the setting in which the service is received is determined to be appropriate. This plan also covers facility fees associated with these services.

  • Industrial Relations Training Leave 53.1 Union Delegate/Employee Representative shall have access to industrial relations training in accordance with Appendix E hereof.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Apprenticeship Training The enterprise agrees to work with the union to improve apprenticeship training and the number of apprentices in training.

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.

  • Child Rearing Teachers shall be granted a leave for child rearing purposes of up to one (1) year without pay or increment. This includes both adoption and birth. Upon written request, such leave may be extended up to one (1) year without pay or increment.

  • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.
