---PEG ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Town and/or its designee(s) can cablecast its Programming over the PEG Access Downstream Channels, PEG Access programming shall be modulated, then transmitted on the Institutional Network from an Institutional Network drop site to the Headend, without charge, for such purpose. At the Headend, said Access programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the three (3) Downstream PEG Access Channels. (b) The Licensee shall continue to own, operate, maintain, repair or replace equipment at the Headend in order to receive and process upstream Programming from the Institutional Network and routing such programming through the Headend for distribution to the Subscriber Network. (c) Within thirty (30) days of executing a cable television renewal license with the Town of Wareham, but in no event no later than January 31, 2005 unless mutually agreed upon by both parties, the Licensee shall, at its cost, provide origination capability through the Institutional Network from the demarcation point at the Old Rochester Regional High School to the Licensee’s Headend. (d) The Licensee shall provide the Town and its designee(s) with the capability to ensure that said Programming is properly switched electronically to the appropriate PEG Access Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At the Headend, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the PEG Access Downstream Channels. The Licensee shall not charge the Town and/or its designee(s) for such electronic switching responsibility. Any manual switching that may be necessary for multiple remote origination cablecasting shall be the responsibility of the Issuing Authority or its designee(s). The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming. (e) The Licensee shall provide and maintain, at no cost to the Town, all necessary processing equipment in order to switch upstream Signals from the Town and/or its designee(s) to the designated Downstream Access Channel. Nothing herein shall require the Licensee to provide, repair, maintain or replace end-user equipment.

---PEG ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that PEG Access Programming can be cablecast over Franchisee’s downstream PEG Access Channel, all PEG Access Programming shall be transported using video/audio over fiber equipment or other methods already in place, then transmitted from an origination location listed in Exhibit C to Franchisee-owned headend or hub-site on a Franchisee- owned upstream channel made available to the Town for its use. At Franchisee-owned headend, said PEG Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one Franchisee-owned Subscriber Network downstream PEG Access Channels. Any construction of additional video return lines or origination sites, and/or the activation of any additional PEG channels shall be paid for by the Town. Said payment shall be made in advance to the Franchisee subject to the provision to the Town by the Franchisee of a detailed estimate of said cost. (b) Franchisee shall provide and maintain all necessary switching and/or processing equipment located at its hub-site or headend in order to switch upstream signals carrying PEG Access Programming from the location(s) listed in Exhibit C to the designated Franchisee-owned Subscriber Network downstream PEG Access Channel. (c) Franchisee shall own, maintain, repair and/or replace any Franchisee-owned fiber links, IP encoders and network transport gear. The Town and/or PEG Access Provider shall own, maintain, repair and/or replace studio and/or portable modulators and demodulators. The demarcation point between Franchisee’s equipment and the Town’s or PEG Access Provider’s equipment shall be at the output of the Town’s and/or the PEG Access provider’s modulator(s) at any of the origination locations in Exhibit C.
---PEG ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that PEG Access Programming can be cablecast over Licensee’s downstream PEG Access Channel, all PEG Access Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from an origination location listed in Exhibit B to Licensee-owned headend or hub- site on a Licensee-owned upstream channel made available, without charge, to the Town for its use. At Licensee-owned headend, said PEG Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one Licensee-owned Subscriber Network downstream PEG Access Channels. (b) Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary switching and/or processing equipment located at its hub-site or headend in order to switch upstream signals carrying PEG Access Programming from the location listed in Exhibit C to the designated Licensee-owned Subscriber Network downstream PEG Access Channel. (c) Licensee shall own, maintain, repair and/or replace any Licensee-owned headend or hub-site audio and/or video signal processing equipment. The Town and/or PEG access provider shall own, maintain, repair and/or replace studio and/or portable modulators and demodulators or equivalent devices. The demarcation point between Licensee’s equipment and the Town’s or PEG Access provider’s equipment shall be at the output of the Town’s and/or the PEG Access provider’s modulator(s) or equivalent device at any of the origination locations in Exhibit C.
---PEG ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Town and/or the Access Corporation can cablecast its Programming over the PEG Access Downstream Channels, all PEG programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location with Origination Capability, as listed in Exhibit 8 hereto, to the Cable System Headend or Hub, on upstream bandwidth made available, without charge, to the Town and the Access Corporation for their use. (b) The Licensee shall provide the Town and/or the Access Corporation with the capability to ensure that said Programming is properly reprocessed, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At theHeadend or the Hub, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the PEG Access Downstream Channels. The Licensee shall not charge the Town and/or the Access Corporation for such switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming. (c) The Licensee shall provide and maintain, at its sole cost and expense, all necessary processing equipment in order to reprocess Upstream Signals from the Town and/or the Access Corporation to the designated Downstream Access Channel. Nothing herein shall require the Licensee to provide end-user equipment.
---PEG ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the City and the Access Corporation can cablecast Access programming over the three (3) PEG Access Channels, all PEG Access programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location in the City with Origination Capability to the I-Net Hub Site, on one of the I-Net Upstream Channels made available, without charge, for such purpose. At the Hub Site, said Access programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the three (3) Downstream SD PEG Access Channels and three (3) HD PEG Access Channels. (b) The Licensee shall continue to provide Origination Capability to the City and the Access Corporation, as required in Section 3.2 supra and Exhibit 4 herein. The Licensee shall also continue to provide and maintain equipment at a location designated by the Issuing Authority in order to receive and process upstream programming from the I-Net and routing such programming through the Headend for distribution to the Subscriber Network and/or the I-Net. (c) In the event that the Access Corporation studio moves from its current location (as of the Effective Date of this Renewal License), upon the written request of the Issuing Authority, the Licensee shall construct, install, activate and maintain a fiber connection to such new Access Corporation studio. Installation of such new fiber connection shall be made within ninety (90) days of the Licensee receiving the written notice from the Issuing Authority referenced above, unless the Issuing Authority and the Licensee agree in writing to a different timetable for said connection. The Licensee shall not charge the City and/or the Access Corporation for such new connection. (d) The Licensee shall continue to provide and maintain all necessary switching equipment at the Headend in order to switch Upstream Signals from any remote locations with Origination Capability to the designated Downstream Access Channel(s). The Licensee shall maintain any equipment that it owns.
---PEG ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Issuing Authority and/or its designee(s) can cablecast its Programming over the PEG Access Downstream Channels, all PEG programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location with Origination Capability, designated by the Town, to the Cable System Hub, on upstream bandwidth made available, without charge, to the Town and any Access Corporation for their use. (b) The Licensee shall provide the Issuing Authority and/or its designee(s) with the capability to ensure that said Programming is properly switched, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At the Hub, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the PEG Access Downstream Channels.
