PEG Access Programming. Programming produced by any Xxxxxx residents or organizations, schools and government entities and the use of designated facilities, equipment and/or channels of the Cable System in accordance with 47 U.S.C. 531 and this Renewal License.
PEG Access Programming. Non-commercial Video Programming transmitted on the PEG Access Channel(s) pursuant to the terms of this License, and applicable laws.
PEG Access Programming. The Licensee shall continue to be responsible for providing public, educational and governmental ("PEG") Access Programming, facilities and equipment to the residents of the Town, pursuant to the provisions of this Article 6. To this end, the Licensee shall:
(1) Continue to operate and maintain its current PEG Access/LO studio in accordance with Section 6.2 below;
(2) Continue to provide support for PEG Access Programming in accordance with Section 6.3 below;
(3) Schedule, operate and program the PEG Access Channels provided in accordance with Section 6.4 below;
(4) Purchase, install, operate, maintain and repair equipment, with the funds allocated for such purposes in Section 6.5 below;
(5) Work with, and seek input from, the Cable Advisory Committee regarding the operation and management of PEG Access Programming, in accordance with Section 6.6 below;
(6) Provide annual funding to the Access Corporation in accordance with Section 6.7 below;
(7) Continue to conduct training programs in the skills to produce PEG Access Programming and provide technical guidance to PEG Access Users;
(8) Establish rules, procedures and guidelines for use of the PEG Access Channels, in conjunction with the Cable Advisory Committee;
(9) Provide outreach, and other access-related services to PEG Access Users, pursuant to Exhibit 5; and
(10) Continue to provide guidance to Users in the production of Video Programming of interest to Subscribers and focusing on Town issues, events and activities.
PEG Access Programming. In programming the PEG Access Channels, LCTV shall comply with all federal and State laws and regulations at all times during the term of this Agreement. LCTV shall provide Public, Educational, and Government Access programming services, facilities and equipment to the Town of Longmeadow and Access users, consistent with the Cable Television Renewal License and funds provided to LCTV pursuant to this Agreement and the reasonable availability of personnel, contractors, and volunteers, and in accordance with applicable law and the operation of a Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Said Access programming shall include Public, Educational and Government Access programming. The services, facilities and equipment provided by LCTV shall be provided to Access users on a non-discriminatory basis. LCTV shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations regarding its financial operations, membership, use of the access facilities, equipment and services by authorized users, training requirements, and the frequency and scheduling of programming. LCTV shall periodically review, on no less than an annual basis, its Policies and Procedures referenced in Section 5, below. Said Policies and Procedures shall be distributed to all LCTV employees and volunteers. Employees and volunteers shall comply with such Policies and Procedures at all times. An updated copy of the Policies and Procedures shall be provided to the Select Board as amended. The Access programming, services, facilities, and equipment shall, consistent with the funds available to LCTV, include the following responsibilities:
(a) Schedule, operate and maintain the Public, Educational and Government Access Channels provided in accordance with the respective cable licenses.
(b) All programming on the Access Channels shall comply with applicable laws and regulations and shall be used as follows:
i. One Downstream PEG Access Channel shall be designated the Public Access Channel, but such channel may be used for Educational and Governmental Access programming as well, if and when appropriate.
ii. One Downstream PEG Access Channel shall be designated Educational Access Channel. LCTV shall work cooperatively with the Longmeadow School Department and all other educational institutions in Longmeadow to generate programming for the Educational Access Channel but such channel may be used for Public and Governmental as well, if and when appropriate.
iii. One Downstream PEG Access Channel shall be designated Government Acc...
PEG Access Programming. All Programming transmitted over PEG Access Channels shall be non-commercial in nature. Program material to be distributed on PEG Access Channels shall contain no advertising or commercial content for which consideration is received by the City or an Access Programmer. Grantee and City agree that City or an Access Programmer may include acknowledgments for Persons which sponsor or underwrite Access Programming in a manner substantially similar to the sponsorship information provided on the Public Broadcasting System.
PEG Access Programming. (a) The Licensee shall provide two (2) PEG Access channels for non- commercial use by residents of the Town, the educational authorities, organizations serving the Town and local government officials.
(b) The Licensee shall not charge residents of the Town, educational authorities, organizations serving the Town or local or any other regional governmental entities for non-commercial use of the PEG Access channels.
(c) Rules shall be established by the Licensee in cooperation with the Issuing Authority or its designee regarding PEG Access Programming , priority of use of the PEG Access channels, the prohibition of lottery information and obscene or indecent matter (modeled after prohibitions found in other FCC rules and regulations), and permitting public inspection of a complete record of names and addressees of all persons or groups requesting time on the PEG Access channels.
PEG Access Programming. The Town, or an Access Corporation designated by the Issuing Authority, shall be responsible for the provision of public, educational and governmental ("PEG") Access Programming to Subscribers, pursuant to the provisions of this Article 6 herein.
PEG Access Programming. Programming produced by any Springfield residents or organizations, schools and governmental entities and the use of designated facilities, equipment and /or channels of the Cable System in accordance with 47 U.S.C. 531 and this Renewal License.
PEG Access Programming. (a) The Licensee shall continue to provide one (1) PEG Access Channel for non-commercial use by residents of the Town, the educational authorities and local government officials. The Licensee shall also reserve one (1) additional channel for such uses according to the following formula. An additional PEG Access Channel shall be made available when the existing channel is used to cablecast first-run, locally produced non-commercial programming eighty percent (80%) of the weekdays (Monday through Friday) for eighty percent (80%) of the time during any consecutive six-hour period for six (6) consecutive weeks. The Licensee shall have six (6) months following a request by the Issuing Authority in which to make such new channel available.
(b) The Licensee shall not charge residents of the Town, educational authorities, organizations serving the Town or local or any other regional governmental entities for non-commercial use of the PEG Access Channel(s).
(c) Rules shall be established by the Licensee in cooperation with the Issuing Authority or its designee regarding PEG Access Programming, priority of use of the PEG Access Channel(s), the prohibition of lottery information and obscene or indecent matter (modeled after prohibitions found in other FCC rules and regulations), and permitting public inspection of a complete record of names and addressees of all persons or groups requesting time on the PEG Access channel(s).
PEG Access Programming. For the purposes of this Section, "non- commercial PEG Access Programming" means programming in any form, (1) which is produced by an individual whose primary purpose for producing or distributing the programming over the Cable System is not to promote or advance any for-profit business, or (2) which is produced by a company or other entity which is a non-profit entity, or (3) which does not have as its primary purpose the promotion or advancement of any for-profit business, or (4) for which no compensation, consideration or remuneration is paid or given to its producer to support its production or distribution. This shall not limit the ability of any individual or entity to support programming and receive donor acknowledgment consistent with FCC regulations.
