Performance Improvement Proposal. The service provider: • Needs to provide a comprehensive proposal on how they will turnaround plant performance of each power station. The proposal should include but not limited to the possible areas of improvement, the proposed solution with the method statement on how the improvement will be managed. • Needs to provide the specialised services based on their area of specialty, as required by the client i.e. Maintenance, Project and Outage Management, Engineering, Operating and Technical Training. • The services must be rendered covering the following main plant systems based on Generations 28 Plant systems, high level being, Boiler Plant, Turbine Plant, Outside Plant and the Balance of Plant, Electrical Systems and Control and Instrumentation system. The following disciples must be covered, mechanical, Electrical both heavy and light current, Control and Instrumentation and process control. • Must have knowledge, skills, competency and a proven track record of their area of specialty, utilizing best and proven industry norms and standard applicable to the discipline. • Where managerial services are provided, the service provider must possess a proven record of successful management and leadership services rendered in a highly complex and operationally demanding environment. • Where professional services are provided, a comprehensive account of skill, competency levels, and accreditation or proof of registration with a respective professional body must be provided, together with previous operational experience. • The service provider must submit a proposal per power station. It is important that you outline the what you believe is a challenge at the particular power station and provide the improvement plan with the proposed resources by name and their curricula Vitae. The evaluation will be based on the proposal and the experience levels of the proposed incumbents. • The service provider is allowed to give proposal to more than one power station, however each power station’s proposal will be evaluated separately. This is an important point to note. • The scope is applicable to six power stations, below are their key performance indicator for each power station. The indicators are lagging, indicating the level of performance of each power station as at the end of December 2021.
