Specification and description of the services. The professional services are for the design proposals, design of the required infrastructure, construction cost estimates, the tender documentation, contract administration and site monitoring of the construction of the project. The project will be implemented in line with ECSA Project phases, SIPDM and ACSA’s Project Management Manual, which outlines processes to be adhered to in the implementation and delivery of projects at ACSA. Specification and description of the services. The scope of the services is to conduct a detailed geotechnical investigation for the collapsed Ferry Landing transition wall at East Bank within the Port of East London. The geotechnical investigation requirement includes but not limited to the provision of a level 4 programme. The scope of works is detailed below:  Forensic Geotechnical Engineering (3 bore holes at 15m depth); and  Produce a study report; Location of site All the works are located at Ferry Landing, on the East bank, at the Port of East London, shown in the diagram below: Figure 1: Overview of the proposed site Expected Deliverables It is expected that the deliverables provided by the Consultant will be sufficient to satisfy the design development phase requirements as per Transnet Project Lifecycle Process (PLP). The expected deliverables will include but not limited to the following:  Provide an overview of the geology of the site;  Present a description of soil material above and below water and the bedrock profiles;  Assess the engineering properties of the soil and the rock;  Identify geotechnical considerations that may influence the proposed design;  Provide geotechnical-related recommendations for design and construction; and  Provide a study report. The designs must include initial construction works and the operational Ash Dump phases; produce a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to be implemented during Construction; produce a detailed geotechnical investigation report, basic and detailed design reports, civil works approved for construction drawings, Works Information, Technical Specifications, detailed priced Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Operations and Maintenance Manual (O&M), this includes Cut and Fill Specifications where needed; revise the existing Operating & Maintenance Manual to include the new works; keep up to date with applicable revisions or new environmental legislative requirements; comply with Eskom specific policies, procedures and guidelines; adhere to applicable South African National Standards (SANS); engage the relevant authorities to ensure that the designs are approved for construction. The Employer is made aware of all engagements with the relevant authorities and is made privy to the information submissions made for this project; provide engineering support during construction of the 4 to 8 year phase of the Ash Dump as required under Technical Assurance deliverables (detailed herein).

  • Provision of the Services 6.1 The Service Provider shall, throughout the term of this Agreement, provide the Services to the Client in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Service Provider shall be responsible for ensuring that it complies with all statutes, regulations, byelaws, standards, codes of conduct and any other rules relevant to the provision of the Services.

  • Access to the Services ID’s for access to Vendor Core Research and Analyst Inquiry may not be shared. Access to the Services is restricted to the number of named individuals (each a “Licensed User”) as identified in the Customer Purchase Order.

  • Allocation and use of scarce resources Any procedures for the allocation and use of scarce resources, including frequencies, numbers and rights of way, will be carried out in an objective, timely, transparent and non-discriminatory manner. The current state of allocated frequency bands will be made publicly available, but detailed identification of frequencies allocated for specific government uses is not required.

  • Use of the Services 1.1 We will make the Oracle services listed in Your order (the “Services”) available to You pursuant to this Agreement and Your order. Except as otherwise stated in this Agreement or Your order, You have the non- exclusive, worldwide, limited right to use the Services during the period defined in Your order, unless earlier terminated in accordance with this Agreement or Your order (the “Services Period”), solely for Your internal business operations. You may allow Your Users (as defined below) to use the Services for this purpose, and You are responsible for their compliance with this Agreement and Your order.
