Common use of PERS/OPSRP MEMBERSHIP Clause in Contracts

PERS/OPSRP MEMBERSHIP. 29 Employees shall be eligible for participation in the Oregon Public 30 Employee Retirement System (PERS) and the Oregon Public Service Retirement 31 Plan (OPSRP) pursuant to ORS 237 and 238A subject to the terms and conditions of 1 the Agreement, dated February 1, 1982, integrating the Multnomah County 2 Employees' Retirement System and PERS, such Agreement having been entered 3 into between the Public Employee Retirement Board and Multnomah County 4 pursuant to the provisions of ORS 237.051.
