Personal Assault. In the event an employee, while acting within the scope of his/her employment, has his/her personal effects such as clothing, glasses or jewelry damaged or destroyed as a result of an attack, assault, or pupil supervision problem, the District, will under District procedures, reimburse the teacher the allowed amount to repair or replace the item(s), provided such damage or destruction is not the result of the employee’s negligence.
