Common use of Personal Day Clause in Contracts

Personal Day. Each employee will receive one (1) personal day per contract year. The Personal day will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the employee and the Department Head or his/her designee. The personal day shall not be carried over from contract year to contract year, nor shall the personal day be granted, if unused, to any employee upon retirement, termination or discharge. No employee will be permitted to work his/her personal day.
