Personnel Reclassifications. Any employee whose position is reallocated to a higher salary grade as a result of a decision by the Director of Personnel to reclassify or reallocate that position shall be entitled to the appropriate pay at the new rate on: a. The first day of the pay period following written notification by the Director or the Director’s designee of the decision if less than 90 days from filing; or b. Retroactively to the first day of the pay period following the 91st day from filing if written notification by the Director or the Director’s designee of the decision exceeds 90 days. This section shall not apply to the decisions that are reconsidered or appealed.
