PICKET LINE PROTECTION. 1. All employees covered under this Agreement have the right to refuse to cross or work behind a picket line established as a result of a dispute as defined by the Labour Relations Act. 2. Failure to cross such a picket line shall not be considered a violation of this Agreement nor shall it be cause for disciplinary action by the Board. 3. Any employee failing to report to work under this article shall be considered to be absent without pay. 4. Teachers shall not be required to perform duties or work normally performed by employees in a legal strike or lockout except for emergent matters which would threaten the health and safety of students.
