Common use of Potential Employees Clause in Contracts

Potential Employees. ‌‌ The Employer agrees to acquaint potential employees with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect, and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-off. All new employees shall have an opportunity to meet for thirty (30) minutes during working time with a representative of the Local, to acquaint the new employees with the Union. This time will be scheduled during an Orientation Day.
