Common use of PRE-JOB CONFERENCE Clause in Contracts

PRE-JOB CONFERENCE. 1. The Contractor shall communicate with the Local Union and the District Council prior to starting work on any project and the Contractor and the Union shall jointly establish a time and place for a pre-job conference. Where the Contractor refuses to participate in a pre-job conference, the Union shall reserve the right to withhold the services of members of the bargaining unit employed by the Contractor and his subcontractors until a pre-job conference is held, provided the Union is ready, willing and able to conduct a pre-job conference promptly.
