Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL. 1. Pregnancy Disability Leave of up to four (4) months, with or without pay, shall be provided to unit employees covered herein pursuant to the Fair Employment Housing Act (FEHA). 2. Such leave shall be granted for disability of the unit employee, determined by a physician, for the duration of such disability, provided, however, that the cumulative unpaid leave for disability and non-disability reasons shall not exceed one year. 3. Pregnancy Disability Leave without pay shall not be granted until accrued sick leave has been exhausted.
