Pay Status And Benefits. ‌ 17.22.5.1 Except as provided in this Article, the family care and medical leave will be unpaid. As permitted by law, the District will recover from an employee its share of health plan premiums during a period of unpaid family care and medical leave if the employee fails to return to work after the employee’s family care and medical leave entitlement has expired. (Government Code §12945.2(f), 2 CCR §7297.5; §825.212 and 29 CFR §825.213)
