Using the latest federal planning standards, compare the capacity of existing facilities to projected demand, and outline the additional capacity which will be required through the planning period. Landside requirements to be examined will include the following: • General aviation terminal facilitiesAircraft parking apronAircraft storage and/or specialty buildings • Aircraft maintenance and/or specialty hangars • Access and parking facilities • Other airport support facilities (if needed) • FBO/Flight school/SASO requirements The facility requirements will be developed in the form of gross areas and basic units and will be compared to those that presently exist to identify the future development items needed to maintain adequate service, function, and operation of the airport.
