PRESCRIBING IN AIRCREW. 3. If aircrew or air traffic controllers are prescribed OOH emergency medication, the contractor shall advise the individual(s) to discuss their treatment with a SMO during normal working hours prior to resuming duties. Additional guidance shall be available from the SMOs. The contractor shall note the following medications related to Aircrew: Antihistamines - Loratadine is the only approved antihistamine. Antibiotics - Most antibiotics are compatible with full flying duties, except minocycline and aminoglycosides. However, the condition for which they are ever prescribed usually precludes flying duties. URTIs Avoid cough and cold remedies as they tend to contain xxxxxxxxxx alkaloids, ephedrine, dextromorphan or antihistamines and are incompatible with flying duties. Aircrew with URTIs are normally unfit flying. Eye Conditions Drops should be prescribed in preference to ointments. Aircrew requiring any form of eye drops may not fly until cleared by a Military Aviation Medical Examiner. Steroids Oral steroids are incompatible with flying. Topical steroids (skin or nasal spray) are permitted. Psychotropics Incompatible with flying duties. Temazepam Seek advice from the RMC before prescribing if the aircrew member is expected to fly within 3 days. Anaesthetic or drug induced sedation Aircrew should not fly for 48 hours after a GA, spinal or epidural anaesthetic or drug induced sedation. They should not fly for 24 hours after LA or dental anaesthetic. * Note: the above list is not a complete list of medications that may be restricted to aircrew personnel. In general medications should only be prescribed to Aircrew OOH whereby a delay in treatment would result in harm to the patient. In all cases the Aircrew member must be seen by the military aviation medical examiner at the earliest opportunity and before returning to flying duties.

  • Population The Population shall be defined as all Paid Claims during the 12-month period covered by the Claims Review.

  • Contractor Key Personnel ‌ The Contractor shall assign a Corporate OASIS Program Manager (COPM) and Corporate OASIS Contract Manager (COCM) as Contractor Key Personnel to represent the Contractor as primary points-of-contact to resolve issues, perform administrative duties, and other functions that may arise relating to OASIS and task orders solicited and awarded under XXXXX. Additional Key Personnel requirements may be designated by the OCO at the task order level. There is no minimum qualification requirements established for Contractor Key Personnel. Additionally, Contractor Key Personnel do not have to be full-time positions; however, the Contractor Key Personnel are expected to be fully proficient in the performance of their duties. The Contractor shall ensure that the OASIS CO has current point-of-contact information for both the COPM and COCM. In the event of a change to Contractor Key Personnel, the Contractor shall notify the OASIS CO and provide all Point of Contact information for the new Key Personnel within 5 calendar days of the change. All costs associated with Contractor Key Personnel duties shall be handled in accordance with the Contractor’s standard accounting practices; however, no costs for Contractor Key Personnel may be billed to the OASIS Program Office. Failure of Contractor Key Personnel to effectively and efficiently perform their duties will be construed as conduct detrimental to contract performance and may result in activation of Dormant Status and/or Off-Ramping (See Sections H.16. and H.17.).
