Principal Determined Daily Assignments Sample Clauses

Principal Determined Daily Assignments. The Board of Education and the Glenbard Education Association agree that teachers will assume the responsibility for a one-half (½) period daily assignment as determined by the Building Principal. This assignment may include, but not be limited to, the following: supervision; preparation; student conferences; club sponsorship; participation on curriculum, personnel, in-service, or other professional studies committees necessary to the educational program of Glenbard Township High School District #87. This assignment may not include supervision of the cafeteria during student lunch periods. On a voluntary basis, instead of being assigned a Supervisory post during the twenty five (25) minute time before or after school, at the request of the tenured teacher and upon the approval of the Building Principal, a tenured teacher could have a twenty five (25) minute assignment during his/her Resource Period. The Building Principal will determine appropriate Resource Period assignment needs.
