Lunch Periods definition

Lunch Periods. A unit member who works more than five (5) hours in a work day shall receive an unpaid, duty-free meal period of not less than one-half (1/2) hour nor more than one (1) hour, which shall occur approximately at the midpoint of the work day. A unit member required to work during his/her lunch period and who does not receive the usual time allocated for lunch that day shall receive pay at the appropriate overtime rate for all time worked during the unit member’s normal lunch period.

More Definitions of Lunch Periods

Lunch Periods. Employees are entitled to one (1) hour for lunch. The lunch hour is a scheduled break in the regular hours of the workday and shall be taken in consultation with the employee’s immediate supervisor between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Related to Lunch Periods

  • Research Period means the research period as described in the Commissioned Research Plan. In accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, in the event that the Agreement ended prior to the completion date of the research originally set, the date the Agreement ends shall be read as the research period.

  • Period of Work means the time during which an employee is at the disposal of the employer;

  • Period of Extended Hire means any additional period that the Hirer wishes the Agency Worker to be supplied for beyond the duration of the original Assignment or series of assignments as an alternative to paying a Transfer Fee;

  • Annual Work Plan and Budget means each annual work plan and budget (including related cash forecasts) for the implementation of the Project approved by the Association, referred to in Section I.D of Schedule 2 to this Agreement; and “Annual Work Plans and Budgets” means, collectively, all such plans and budgets.

  • Period of Agreement means 5 years from the date of Final acceptance of the Project.
