Prior to leaving on vacation an employee shall be notified of the date and time on which to report back for work following vacation if the posted work schedule does not cover the employee's vacation period, if the information is known by the employer.

(a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.
(b) During the first year of employment, a full time employee with at least six (6) months of service may be granted up to five (5) days vacation in advance of their entitlement date if requested and at the Employer’s discretion.
