PROBATIONAL PERIOD Sample Clauses
The Probational Period clause establishes a defined initial timeframe at the start of employment during which the employer evaluates the employee’s suitability for the role. During this period, the employee’s performance, conduct, and overall fit with the organization are assessed, and certain employment terms—such as notice requirements for termination or eligibility for benefits—may differ from those that apply after the probation ends. This clause provides both parties with a structured opportunity to confirm the employment arrangement is appropriate, thereby reducing the risk of long-term commitment to an unsuitable employment relationship.
