Common use of Probationary Discharge Clause in Contracts

Probationary Discharge. Probationary Employees may be discharged for just cause at any time during the probationary period. A grievance may be filed where the Union claims a violation of this Article or Article 5 with respect to discharge. Probationary Employees and the Union shall be given seven (7) Work Days’ written notice of the Employer's intention to discharge such an Employee.
