Probationary Period; Change of Classification. In addition to the initial probationary period, an employee transferred or promoted to a different classification shall serve a new probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days in any such new classification. During this ninety (90) calendar day probationary period, if it is determined by the District that the employee's performance in the new classification is unsatisfactory, the District shall have the right to reassign the employee to the employee's former classification with similar hours within thirty (30) minutes per day. The probationary period for employees who are transferred or promoted during the summer shall start on the following September 1.
