Common use of Professional Conference Leave Clause in Contracts

Professional Conference Leave. Upon the approval of the Building Principal, and the Superintendent or designee, teachers shall be allowed to attend professional conferences. When the employee is notified of an approval, he/she shall also be informed whether any of the expenses for food, lodging and travel will be reimbursed. In the event attendance at a professional conference is approved and then substitutes become unavailable, approval may be withdrawn, provided pre-approved pre- paid expenses of the employee will be reimbursed.
