PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAVE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EMPLOYEES. 1. For bargaining unit members Employees are responsible for meeting professional development licensing requirements on a yearly basis. Tuition or registration fees will be paid and employees will be paid at their regular rate of pay for all conferences, workshops, and in-service training they are required to attend by the Board of Education during their scheduled work hours.
