PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT. A. The District encourages the continuing professional growth of Xxxxx through his participation in: 1. The operations, programs and other activities conducted or sponsored by local, state and national school board and administrative associations; 2. Seminars and courses offered by public or private educational institutions; 3. Informational meetings with other persons whose particular skills or backgrounds would serve to improve the capacity of Xxxxx to perform his professional responsibilities for the District; and

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT. The Board encourages the continuing professional growth of the Assistant Superintendent through his participation, as he might decide and with the approval of the Superintendent and in light of his responsibilities as the Assistant Superintendent, in the following: (a) the operations, programs, and other activities conducted or sponsored by local, state and national school administrators and school board associations; (b) seminars and courses offered by public or private educational institutions; (c) informational meetings with other persons whose particular skills or backgrounds would serve to improve the capacity of the Assistant Superintendent to perform his professional responsibilities for the Board; (d) visits to other institutions; and, (e) other activities promoting the professional growth of the Assistant Superintendent. In its encouragement, the Board shall permit a reasonable amount of release time for the Assistant Superintendent, as he deems appropriate, and as approved by the Superintendent, to attend such matters and shall pay all necessary travel, registration and sustenance expenses. At a minimum, the Assistant Superintendent shall be permitted to attend, at his option, one state and one national conference annually. In no case, shall the reimbursement of expenses of the Assistant Superintendent pursuant to this Section exceed the limits established by New Jersey Department of Education Regulations and New Jersey Office of Management and Budget Circulars.
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT. The Board encourages the continuing professional growth of the Assistant Superintendent through his participation, as he might decide in light of his responsibilities as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, in the following: A. The operations, programs, and other activities conducted or sponsored by local, state and national school board associations; B. Seminars and courses offered by public or private educational institutions; C. Informational meetings with other persons whose particular skills or backgrounds would serve to improve the capacity of the Assistant Superintendent to perform her professional responsibilities for the Board; D. Visits with other institutions; and E. Other activities promoting the professional growth of the Assistant Superintendent. The Board, upon the approval of the Superintendent, shall permit a reasonable amount of release time for the Assistant Superintendent to attend such matters and shall pay all necessary travel, registration and sustenance expenses as per district policy and administrative regulations (N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-7.1 et seq.), including applicable OMB Circulars. The Board shall pay all costs and fees associated with state mandated continuing education.

Visits to other institutions; E. Professional memberships to NJASA, ASCD, and Mercer County Instructional Leadership Council; and F. Other activities promoting the professional growth of the Administrator. In its encouragement, the Board shall permit a reasonable amount of release time for the Administrator, subject to approval by the Chief School Administrator/Superintendent.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretaries The secretary shall record all proceedings of the shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the secretary from any meeting of shareholders or Trustees, an assistant secretary, or if there be none or he or she is absent, a temporary clerk chosen at the meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretary The Secretary shall be responsible for filing legal documents and maintaining records for the Company. The Secretary shall attend all meetings of the Board and record all the proceedings of the meetings of the Company and of the Board in a book to be kept for that purpose and shall perform like duties for the standing committees when required. The Secretary shall give, or shall cause to be given, notice of all meetings of the Member, if any, and special meetings of the Board, and shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board or the President, under whose supervision the Secretary shall serve. The Assistant Secretary, or if there be more than one, the Assistant Secretaries in the order determined by the Board (or if there be no such determination, then in order of their election), shall, in the absence of the Secretary or in the event of the Secretary’s inability to act, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Secretary and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

  • Assistant Treasurers and Assistant Secretaries The assistant treasurers and assistant secretaries shall perform such duties as shall be assigned to them by the treasurer or the secretary, respectively, or by the chairman and chief executive officer, the president or the Management Committee.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • Jurisdiction of Organization; Chief Executive Office Such Grantor’s jurisdiction of organization, legal name and organizational identification number, if any, and the location of such Grantor’s chief executive office or sole place of business, in each case as of the date hereof, is specified on Schedule 3 and such Schedule 3 also lists all jurisdictions of incorporation, legal names and locations of such Grantor’s chief executive office or sole place of business for the five years preceding the date hereof.

  • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.

  • Assistant Secretary The Assistant Secretary, or if there be more than one, the Assistant Secretaries in the order determined by the Trustees (or if there be no determination, then in the order of their election), shall, in the absence of the Secretary or in the event of his inability or refusal to act, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Secretary and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Trustees may from time to time prescribe.

  • Chief Executive Office; Jurisdiction of Organization Seller shall not move its chief executive office from the address referred to in Section 13(a)(17) or change its jurisdiction of organization from the jurisdiction referred to in Section 13(a)(17) unless it shall have provided Buyer 30 days’ prior written notice of such change.

  • Treasurer and Assistant Treasurers The Board, in its discretion, may elect a Treasurer and one or more Assistant Treasurers. The Treasurer shall keep or cause to be kept the books of account of the Company and shall render statements of the financial affairs of the Company in such form and as often as required by this Agreement, the Board or a President. The Treasurer, subject to the order of the Board, shall have the custody of all funds and securities of the Company. The Treasurer shall perform all other duties commonly incident to his office and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as this Agreement, the Board or a President, shall designate from time to time. The Assistant Treasurers shall exercise the power of the Treasurer during that Officer’s absence or inability or refusal to act. Each of the Assistant Treasurers shall possess the same power as the Treasurer to sign all certificates, contracts, obligations and other instruments of the Company. If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.
