Common use of Professional Improvement Plans Clause in Contracts

Professional Improvement Plans. 1. A professional improvement plan is a clearly articulated assistance program used for a counselor who has a final summative rating of "Ineffective" on their most recent final summative evaluation. Administration will assign the credentialed evaluator for the evaluation cycle and approve the Improvement plan. 2. The professional improvement plan shall include: a. Performance expectations, resources and assistance to be provided; and, b. A desired level of performance that is expected and a time period to correct deficiencies; and, c. Professional Development opportunities that will be provided to the counselor.
