PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS. A. Since pupils are entitled to be taught by teachers who are working within their areas of competence, teachers shall not be assigned, except temporarily and for good cause, outside the scope of their teaching certificates or their major or minor field of study provided that such assigned teachers shall have a valid Michigan teacher's certificate.
