PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS. A. No new teacher shall be employed by the Board for a regular teaching assignment who does not have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and a provisional, continuing or permanent certificate, providing a teacher so qualified is available. B. Teachers may be employed in individual contracts based on special certificate only in case of necessity or where the teacher has outstanding credentials, and the Association shall be so notified.
