Professional Transfer Policy. 1. The superintendent shall post in all schools, in the office and on the website, a list of all existing school vacancies within five (5) calendar days prior to being advertised to outside candidates. 2. A certified teacher who desires a transfer to the positions available should submit a written request to the superintendent of schools. 3. Criteria for approval of a certified teacher transfer request will be made upon the best interests of the school district as determined by the superintendent. Overall district seniority will be considered.

Professional Transfer Policy. 1. The superintendent or designee shall post on the website and by email to staff, a list of all existing certified vacancies. Jobs will be simultaneously posted internally and externally. From the date of posting, there will be a five (5) day internal candidate review period. If, at the end of the internal review period, no transfers are requested or if no transfers are approved, the District will review external candidates. 2. A certified teacher who desires a transfer to the positions available should submit an internal application through the online district application program. 3. Criteria for approval of a certified teacher transfer request will be made upon the best interests of the school district as determined by the superintendent. Overall district seniority will be considered.

  • TRANSFER POLICY Section 7 of this Agreement will not apply to Party A, who will be required to comply with, and will be bound by, the following: Without prejudice to Section 6(b)(ii) as amended in this Schedule, Party A may transfer all (but not part only) of its interests and obligations in and under this Agreement to any of its Affiliates or, with the prior written consent of Party B, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, to any other entity (each such Affiliate or entity a "TRANSFEREE") upon providing five Business Days' prior written notice to the Note Trustee, provided that: (i) the Transferee's short-term, unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations are then rated not less than "A-1+" by S&P, "Prime-1" by Moody's and "F1" by Fitch and its long-term, unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations are then rated not less than "AA-" by S&P, "A1" by Moody's and "A+" by Fitch (or its equivalent by any substitute rating agency) or such Transferee's obligations under this Agreement are guaranteed by an entity whose short-term, unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations are then rated not less than "A-1+" by S&P, "Prime-1" by Moody's and "F1" by Fitch and whose long-term, unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations are then rated not less than "AA-" by S&P, "A1" by Moody's and "A+" by Fitch (or its equivalent by any substitute rating agency);

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the following organizations: Nebraska Council of School Administrators (NCSA), The School Superintendents Association (AASA), and any other membership dues requested by the Superintendent and approved by the Board.

  • Professional Development Funds 23.1.1 Two Professional Development Funds, a Professional Development Support Fund and an Education Leave Fund, shall be established to support professional development activities as defined in 23.2. On April 1st of each year, the College will allocate an amount equal to no less than 0.9% of total faculty salary (exclusive of severance payments) to the Professional Development Support Fund, and an amount equal to no less than 0.6% of total faculty salary to the Educational Leave Fund. Any unused balances in these funds shall carry over to the next budget year. 23.1.2 The College agrees to provide the Association with the authority to administer the program on behalf of the College for those activities approved by the College in accordance with 23.2, 23.4 and 23.5. 23.1.3 Nothing in this Agreement prevents the College from funding professional development activities in addition to those activities supported through the Professional Development Funds (23.1.1) in accordance with the procedures described in this Article.

  • Professional Development; Adverse Consequences of School Exclusion; Student Behavior The Board President or Superintendent, or their designees, will make reasonable efforts to provide ongoing professional development to Board members about the adverse consequences of school exclusion and justice-system involvement, effective classroom management strategies, culturally responsive discipline, appropriate and available supportive services for the promotion of student attendance and engagement, and developmentally appropriate disciplinary methods that promote positive and healthy school climates, i.e., Senate Bill 100 training topics.
