Prohibitive Conduct. 6.1.1 The Association acknowledges that the employees covered by this Agreement are sworn to uphold the law and because of prohibition of strikes in Act No. 336, State of Michigan Public Acts of 1947 as amended, and its commitments hereunder, the Association agrees that neither it nor its members will for any reason, directly or indirectly call, sanction or engage in any strike, walkout, slowdown, stay away, limitations of service, boycott of a primary or secondary nature, picketing or any other activities that may disturb, restrict or interfere with the services provided by the Employer and its peaceful operations during the term of this Agreement. The Employer agrees that during the term of this Agreement, it will not lock out any employee covered by this Agreement. 6.1.2 Individual employees or groups of employees who instigate, aid or engage in a work stoppage, slowdown or strike may be disciplined or discharged in the sole discretion of the Employer. It is understood and agreed that the questions as to whether the actions of employees constitute such prescribed activities shall be subject to the grievance procedure.
