Project Cost Estimate. Prior to the letting of any contract for the work of the Project the Municipality shall submit to NYSDOT, for NYSDOT's approval, a detailed estimate, by phase, of Project costs.

The Contractor will make every effort possible to keep costs of construction within stated budget and in an event the costs surpass estimates, the Contractor will follow the rules of change orders, stated in this document.
