Promotions and Demotions. 14.01 If an employee is promoted or reclassified other than on a temporary basis, to a higher-rated job group, he/she shall receive not less than the rate that he was receiving at the time of the promotion, or the starting rate for the job, into which he is being promoted, whichever is the higher, and shall be advanced through the rates for the job group as provided in Schedule “A.”
