If the contents of the box/package contain electronic components or media, or otherwise should not be scanned because of potential damage to the contents, the sender/vendor shall mark the box/package with a “DO NOT SCAN” sticker.

Also each carton shall be single person portable. However, the Master Set, as described below, shall be packaged separately and marked as the Master Set. Each box should include a packing slip detailing the contents to include the volume number, title, and copy number. Also, each box should be stamped or marked “For Official Use Only” and “Source Selection Information -- See FAR-2.101 and 3.104”. The Master Set shall include all original proposal volumes including the original/signed documents.
PROPOSAL PACKAGING. UNCLASSIFIED PACKAGING The Offeror shall package the proposal volumes in cartons or equivalent packaging containers in the most efficient manner possible, grouping like volumes to the maximum extent possible. Clearly mark all packages with the solicitation number. The outside and inside of the carton(s), the front cover of the proposal volumes, and the CD-ROMs should be clearly stamped or marked ― “For Official Use Only”; and “Source Selection Information – See FAR-2.101 and 3.104.” The sets of CD-ROM disks should be clearly marked with the Offeror's name and address, the point of contact's name and phone number, the proposal volumes contained therein. Each carton should identify its contents by including a packing slip detailing each volume/annex number and title, and copy number. Each carton should be double wrapped. The outside of the carton should be plain and should contain only pertinent shipping /mailing information including the intended recipient identified in 4.1 (Proposal Submission).

  • Packaging Tangible product shall be securely and properly packed for shipment, storage, and stocking in appropriate, clearly labeled, shipping containers and according to accepted commercial practice, without extra charge for packing materials, cases, or other types of containers. All containers and packaging shall become and remain Customer’s property.

  • Packaging Materials and Containers for Retail Sale Packaging materials and containers in which a good is packaged for retail sale shall, if classified with the good, be disregarded in determining whether all the non-originating materials used in the production of the good undergo the applicable change in tariff classification set out in Annex 4, and, if the good is subject to a regional value-content requirement, the value of such packaging materials and containers shall be taken into account as originating or non-originating materials, as the case may be, in calculating the regional value content of the good.
