Common use of Protective Equipment Clause in Contracts

Protective Equipment. 20.01 All employees shall wear safety hats to be made available by the Employer. 20.02 All employees shall wear gloves, safety shoes and rain gear where required, furnished by the employee. 20.03 The Employer will furnish employees with safety equipment (including safety glasses) if and when required. Said equipment shall remain the property of the Employer. Any worn out safety equipment will be replaced upon presentation of the worn equipment. The employees shall be held responsible for loss or improper maintenance of Employer furnished items.
