Common use of Public Office Service Clause in Contracts

Public Office Service. The Board will grant a leave of absence, without pay, to any bargaining unit member to campaign for, or serve in, a public office, or to campaign for a candidate for a public office. Such leave will not exceed the length of the campaign or term in office, whichever is appropriate.
