Purchasing Equipment. 14.1 Equipment to promote independence in activities of daily living and/or support the provision of personal care may be available on loan, following assessment by the West Sussex Independent Living Service (ILS). If a Customer wishes to purchase additional equipment using the Direct Payment they should ask their social or health care worker for further guidance.

Purchasing Equipment. It is poor economy to buy less than high quality, timesaving equipment. It is also poor economy to buy good equipment and let it lay idle or to buy a product of better quality than is actually needed. If budget restrictions require it, expensive equipment can be programmed over the course of several years.
Purchasing Equipment. At the bottom edge of the screen is a display for selecting specific equipment op- tions, depending on which formation is selected in the Activated Troops list. Some formations allow you to determine the type of equipment that they are going to field for the battle, such as different tank or vehicle or gun types. For example, if you select a US Armor formation, typically you will be able to determine which models of Xxxxxxx tanks will be appearing in the battle. This menu is highly context sensitive and dynamic, depending on which formation or unit you highlight in the Activate Troops list. Sometimes you can select an in- dividual squad and several choices will appear here, sometimes you can select a Battalion HQ and select the equipment for the entire formation with a few clicks. In addition to different equipment, you can usually also determine here if you want indirect weapons such as guns, howitzers or mortars appear on the map, or be available as off-map support assets only. The choices made here may affect the point value of the formation that they apply to. This is why the points listed under Activated Troops may differ from the “typ- ical” point values shown under Available Troops for the exact same formations. Equipment Dropdown Menu You can adjust the equipment selection individually for each unit (this can be te- dious, especially if you are making a scenario with a lot of units), as explained above, but you can also use the Equipment Dropdown menu to apply general (randomized) settings to entire formations as you purchase them. The Equip- ment Dropdown menu is located on the left side of the screen underneath the Formation/Specialist/Vehicle selection menu. You can determine units to be in Poor condition or Excellent condition and several steps in between. Depending on the setting, your formations will be already prepopulated with vehicles and weapons accordingly. One choice includes a “Typical” setting, which uses the historically “correct” values for that unit and that specific time period. Reinforcements Up to seven groups of units per side can be designated as Reinforcements from the Available Units list, irrespective of their parent formation. This allows the sce- xxxxx designer to have units enter the battle at some later and/or (more or less) random point in time. Purchasing Equipment. When you purchase equipment from us (Equipment), you are responsible for accepting delivery. Responsibility and risk in the Equipment passes to you upon delivery of the Equipment to your nominated delivery address. Subject to clause 20, title in the Equipment passes to you upon receipt by us of the total amount of the fees payable for the Equipment. Fees for Equipment are to be paid in accordance with clause 14. The price of any Equipment does not include any training in relation to the Equipment. We provide a warranty against defects in the Equipment for a period of 365 days from the date of delivery (Warranty Period). During the Warranty Period, you may notify us in writing of any defect or suspected defect in the Equipment. This Warranty Period will be deemed to have immediately ceased if the Equipment is used in a manner that is inconsistent with these Terms or law, has been modified in any way, has been used other than in accordance with its operating manual, or no longer has an intact and legible serial number.

  • Metering Equipment 13.01. Utility will furnish, install, own and maintain metering equipment capable of measuring the flow of kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy. The Customer's service associated with the CRG will be metered at a single metering point. The metering equipment will measure energy delivered by Utility to Customer and also measure energy delivered by Customer to Utility. Customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the premises for installation of this equipment and its future maintenance or removal.

  • Additional Equipment Additional Equipment may from time to time be added as the subject matter of this Agreement as agreed on by the parties. Any additional property will be added in an amendment describing the property, the monthly rental, security deposit, and stipulated loss value of the additional Equipment. All amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. Other than by this amendment procedure, this Agreement may not be amended, modified, or altered in any manner except in writing signed by both parties.

  • New Equipment Where new types of equipment and/or operations, for which rates of pay are not established by this Agreement, are put into use after the ratification date of this Agreement within operations covered by this Agreement, rates governing such operations shall be subject to negotiations between the parties. This paragraph shall apply to all new types of equipment including office and clerical equipment. In the event agreement cannot be reached within sixty (60) days after the date such equipment is put into use, the matter may be submit- xxx to the National Grievance Committee for final disposition. Rates agreed upon or awarded shall be effective as of the date equipment is put to use.

  • Purchase of Equipment U.S. Forest Service funds may be used by the to purchase equipment necessary to accomplish activities described in this Supplemental Project Agreement. The available funding is displayed in the financial plan. Title to the equipment rests with the U.S. Forest Service, but may be transferred to the on completion of the project, if appropriate.

  • Purchased Equipment Any equipment purchased under this contract remains the property of the Contractor for the period this contract and future continuing contracts for the provision of the same services. Contractor must submit vendor invoice with reimbursement request. For the purpose of this contract, equipment is defined as any tangible, durable property having a useful life of at least (1) year and acquisition cost of $1000.00 or more. The contractor has the responsibility to submit to the Contract Monitor an inventory list of LDH equipment items when acquired under the contract and any additions to the listing as they occur. Contractor will submit an updated, complete inventory list on a quarterly basis to the Contract Monitor. Contractor agrees that upon termination of contracted services, the equipment purchased under this contract reverts to the Department. Contractor agrees to deliver any such equipment to the Department within 30 days of termination of services.

  • Monitoring Equipment 2.2.1 24-hour TSP air quality monitoring was performed using High Volume Sampler (HVS) located at each designated monitoring station. The HVS meets all the requirements of the Project Specific EM&A Manual. Portable direct reading dust meters were used to carry out the 1-hour TSP monitoring. Brand and model of the equipment is given in Table 2.1.

  • MEASURING EQUIPMENT 1. Seller will maintain and operate, at its own, expense and at the point of delivery of gas hereunder, a meter or meters and other necessary equipment by which the volume of gas delivered hereunder shall be measured. Such meters and equipment shall remain the property of the Seller.

  • Special Equipment The Employer agrees to provide specialty tools, emergency supplies/equipment, testing equipment and safety equipment as needed to perform required duties as determined and authorized by the Chief or designee. The emergency supplies/equipment will include appropriate survival provisions and equipment for each permanent Maintenance Mechanic 4 and the Law Enforcement Communications Systems Supervisor when they are performing duties that would require such provisions and equipment. When necessary, the employer will replenish used or expired survival provisions and damaged and unusable equipment. All supplies and equipment will be returned to the employer when the employee is no longer performing the duties that would require the survival provisions and/or equipment.

  • Rental Equipment 7.1 We will at all times own all Rental Equipment supplied to you. You will not let, sell, charge, assign, sub-license or allow a third party to use the Rental Equipment nor remove any labels, and shall not prejudice our rights in the Rental Equipment in any way. We may replace the Rental Equipment from time to time either with your prior consent or provided that the replacement Rental Equipment is of a specification that is at least equal to the Rental Equipment originally supplied and such change does not materially disrupt the provision of the Services.

  • Defective Equipment Provided that you are in compliance with all terms and conditions of this Agreement, while you receive Internet Service under this Agreement, Viasat will, at no additional charge to you, replace Equipment you lease from Viasat that Viasat, in its sole discretion, determines to be defective (“Defective Equipment”). Defective Equipment replacement under this Section 4 expressly excludes charges for home service calls and for damage to, or misuse of, the Equipment. For the first 90 days after initial activation of your Internet Service, Viasat will waive its standard service call charge if Viasat makes a service call. After the first 90 days following initial activation of your Internet Service, Viasat’s standard service call charge shall apply to all service calls by Viasat. You shall notify us promptly of any defect in, damage to, or accident involving your leased Equipment by calling 0-000-000-0000. All maintenance and repair of Equipment shall be performed by us or our designee(s). Viasat may charge you for any repairs that are necessitated by any damage to, or misuse of, the Equipment.
