Qualifications for Leave. An injured employee is not qualified for leave unless a request is made in writing from the Business Manager of the Union to the Commissioner of Administration no later than ten (10) calendar days from the date the assault occurred, and the injured employee has not previously exhausted the maximum paid leave period for injury leave under these provisions.
