Quality Improvement Committee (QIC. refers to a committee that meets quarterly to review one percent (1%) of all “high-risk” Medi-Cal Clients to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of services provided. At a minimum, the committee is comprised of one (1) Contractor administrator, one (1) Clinician and one (1) Physician who is not involved in the clinical care of the cases.
