Reassignment within classification. In the event a reduction in staff is implemented, employees in affected positions within the classification shall be reassigned to the position held by the least seniored person within the classification working the same number of hours provided he/she is qualified and provided the employee has more seniority and has been in the classification for at least one (1) year. In the event no such position exists, the affected employee will be reassigned to the position held by the least seniored person within the classification whose regular schedule of hours is less but most closely coincides with the affected employee's former schedule of hours.
