RECOGNITION - EMPLOYEES COVERED. (a) Pursuant to and in accordance with all applicable provisions of Act 379 of Public Acts of 1965, as amended, the Employer does hereby recognize the Union as the exclusive representative for the purpose of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment for the term of this Agreement for all full-time and part-time custodial/maintenance and food service employees employed by the Ionia Public Schools but excluding substitute and seasonal employees, executive and supervisory personnel and all others. (b) The term employee when used in this Agreement shall refer to all employees represented by the Union in the bargaining unit as defined above.
