RECOGNITION OF EXCLUSIVE BARGAINING AGENT. (a) The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for its employees, as defined in paragraph (b) below. (b) Except as specifically provided otherwise, the term "employee" or "employees" as used in this Agreement shall be understood to mean the employees of the Employer in the Housekeeping Department at Whistler, B.C., with the exception of those excluded by the Labour Relations Code of B.C. or those exclusions recognized by the parties in paragraph (c) below. (c) The following positions are excluded from the Housekeeping Department bargaining unit: (d) The Union’s work jurisdiction under this Agreement shall consist of the positions described in this Article at the following properties managed by the Employer in Whistler, British Columbia:
