Common use of Recognition of Union and Unit Clause in Contracts

Recognition of Union and Unit. 1. The State by the Office of Employee Relations in the Governor's Office hereby recognizes the Union as the exclusive representative for collective negotiations for wages, hours of work and other terms and conditions of employment for all its employees in the statewide Administrative and Clerical Services Unit. The State will not negotiate with nor grant rights afforded under terms or provisions of this Agreement to any other employee organization in connection with the employees in this unit.
