REGULAR OPERATORS LAY OFF. (from LA) Operating conditions permitting, regular operators will be allowed to lay off at their home terminal or an away-from-home point if sufficient spare operators are available, and then they will be permitted to pick up their runs at either home or away-from-home terminal desires to pick up his run at such point, he must give notice by the arrival time of that inbound trip of his regular assignment preceding the departure of his regular assignment. A regular operator will not be allowed to lay off at the away-from-home point, or during his tour of duty, in order to operate a request charter. PAY CLAIMS

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • Regular Overtime Any overtime work scheduled in advance of the administrative workweek as part of an employee's regularly scheduled workweek is considered regular overtime. An employee shall be compensated for every minute of regular overtime work in accordance with 5 CFR 550.

  • Public Benefit It is the Parties’ understanding that the commitments agreed to herein, and actions to be taken by Consumer Value under this Settlement Agreement, would confer a significant benefit to the general public, as set forth in Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5 and Cal. As such, it is the Parties’ intent that to the extent any other private party initiates an action alleging a violation of Proposition 65 with respect to Consumer Value’s alleged failure to provide a warning concerning exposure to chromium (VI) prior to use of the Products it has manufactured, distributed, sold, or offered for sale in California, or will manufacture, distribute, sell, or offer for sale in California, such private party action would not confer a significant benefit on the general public as to those Products addressed in this Settlement Agreement, provided that Consumer Value is in material compliance with this Settlement Agreement.
