RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMPLOYER AND LHMU. 11.1 Commitment to collective bargaining 11.1.1 The XXXXXXXX PROPERTY SERVICES and the LHMU being parties to this Agreement are strongly committed to the principle of collective bargaining. 11.1.2 The Employer and the LHMU agree to work together to successfully implement this Agreement and to negotiate a successor agreement prior to the nominal expiry date of this Agreement. 11.2 Annual union meeting 11.2.1 XXXXXXXX PROPERTY SERVICES will allow the opportunity once each year, at each worksite (or an appropriate alternate venue nominated by the LHMU), for union representatives to meet with all existing cleaners to discuss union and industry issues. This will occur in the manner outlined below and in such a way as to ensure normal cleaning operations are not disrupted. 11.2.2 The purpose of such a meeting shall be consistent with the purpose for which Union Right of Entry is legitimately permitted under the Act. 11.2.3 The Union will seek to reach agreement with XXXXXXXX PROPERTY SERVICESas to an appropriate time to conduct a meeting in accordance with normal Right of Entry 11.2.4 Where such agreement is unable to be reached, the Employer will facilitate a 30 minute paid meeting at the worksite (or an appropriate alternate venue nominated by the LHMU) at an agreed time.

  • Relationship Between Parties Each party will be deemed to represent to the other party on the date on which it enters into a Transaction that (absent a written agreement between the parties that expressly imposes affirmative obligations to the contrary for that Transaction):

Your employment with the Company will be “at will,” meaning that either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause.   • Termination of Employment Relationship Your employment is terminable -------------------------------------- at will. That means that your employment relationship with Cardinal may be terminated by either party at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, subject to the notice provision addressed below. (a) Cardinal may terminate your employment for Cause effective immediately upon written notice. In the event that Cardinal terminates your employment for Cause, you will be entitled to earned and unpaid base salary and payment for any earned and unused vacation days through the last date of your employment.

  • EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE DUTIES 11.1 An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the employee's skills, competence and training consistent with the classification structure of this agreement provided that such duties are not designed to promote xx-xxxxxxxx. 11.2 An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required provided that the employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment. 11.3 Any direction issued by an employer under this clause is to be consistent with the employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.

  • EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS The ORGANIZATION, its employees, volunteers or agents performing under this Agreement are not deemed to be employees of the COUNTY, nor volunteers or agents of the COUNTY in any manner whatsoever. No officer, employee, volunteer or agent of the ORGANIZATION will hold themselves out as, or claim to be, an officer, employee, volunteer or agent of the COUNTY by reason hereof, nor will they make any claim, demand or application to or for any right or privilege applicable to an officer, employee volunteer or agent of the COUNTY. The parties agree that the COUNTY will not be responsible for the payment of any industrial insurance premiums or related claims or other benefits that may arise during the performance of services under this Agreement for any ORGANIZATION employee or volunteer, or for any consultant’s, contractor’s or subcontractor’s employee(s) or agent(s) that has been retained by the ORGANIZATION.

  • Not an Employment Contract The Executive acknowledges that this Agreement does not constitute a contract of employment or impose on the Company any obligation to retain the Executive as an employee and that this Agreement does not prevent the Executive from terminating employment at any time. If the Executive's employment with the Company terminates for any reason and subsequently a Change in Control shall occur, the Executive shall not be entitled to any benefits hereunder except as otherwise provided pursuant to Section 1.2.
