Common use of Release Time for Union Officers Clause in Contracts

Release Time for Union Officers. The Union President and/or designee shall be granted three (3) days per year without loss of pay to attend to Union duties and/or to attend Union functions, provided the Union pay for the cost of the substitute. Elected or designated Union members may engage in Union activities directly relating to the Union’s duties as representative of the employees during the school day, without loss of pay, provided such activities do not infringe upon the members’ assigned duties or the duties of any other employee.
