Removal of documents from personnel file. If after any warning, a period of 12 months elapses without any further warnings or action being required, all written notes and warnings relating to the Employee will be removed from the Employee’s personnel file.

Removal of documents from personnel file. An employee may request that letters of reprimand be removed from his/her personnel file after a period of three (3) years. The employee shall submit a written request to the Director of Human Resources. Upon request, the letter of reprimand shall be placed in a sealed file kept separate from the personnel file. Both the Director of Human Resources and the employee shall initial the file over the sealing tape and the file can only be opened by legal process or with written consent of employee.

  • Review of Personnel File Upon written authority from an employee, OC shall permit the President of the Union or their designate to review that employee's personnel file in the office in which the file is normally kept in order to facilitate the proper investigation of a grievance.
