Replacing Shifts. The parties agree that where an employee is not able to report, or does not report, for a shift(s) of work for whatever reason, the Employer has the sole discretion to determine whether to replace the employee and thereby fill the shift(s).

Replacing Shifts. The parties agree that where an employee is not able to report, or does not report, for a shift(s) of work for whatever reason, the Employer has the sole discretion to determine whether to replace the employee and thereby fill the shift(s). The parties agree that if the Employer, in its sole discretion, decides to offer or fill the shift(s) with employees at straight time hourly rates of pay, the Employer shall fill the shift(s) in accordance with the established process. The parties further agree that if the Employer is not able to fill the shift at straight time hourly rates of pay and the Employer, in its sole discretion, decides to offer or fill the shift(s) with employees at overtime rates of pay, the Employer shall fill the shift in accordance with the established process.
