REPORT-FOR-ASSIGNMENT PAY. If an HCA arrives at a client home at the scheduled service time and the client is not home or is otherwise unavailable for service, the HCA shall be paid for one (1) hour, provided the HCA reports the incident to his/her supervisor. The unavailability of the client must be reported to the supervisor immediately. Should the supervisor determine that subsequent assignments should be confirmed by the HCA before traveling to the client residence, the HCA shall be required to telephone the client before attempting service. Unless weather or other conditions pose a hazard to the health or safety of the HCA, the HCA shall be required to wait at the client residence for thirty (30) minutes and to follow CCS written client contact policies as provided to each HCA. HCAs who are who are not given a new assignment of equal or greater length shall be paid for the entire original assignment, plus all travel time and travel mileage (except errand mileage not served) they would have been paid had the original assignment been completed as scheduled).

Unless weather or other conditions pose a hazard to the health or safety of the employee or the supervisor assigns the employee another shift and client, the employee shall be required to wait at the client residence for thirty (30) minutes and to follow CCS written client contact policies as provided, if the client shows up within the thirty minutes which the employee waited, the employee will be paid for the scheduled time waiting. Employees who are who are not given a new assignment of equal or greater length shall be paid for the entire original assignment, plus all travel time and travel mileage (except errand mileage not served) they would have been paid had the original assignment been completed as scheduled.   • Assignment Pay Assignment pay is a premium added to the base salary and is intended to be used only as long as the skills, duties or circumstances it is based on are in effect. The Employer may grant assignment pay to a position to recognize specialized skills, assigned duties, and/or unique circumstances that exceed the ordinary.   • Assignment of Contract A. Unless expressly agreed to elsewhere in the Contract, no assignment by a party hereto of any rights under or interests in the Contract will be binding on another party hereto without the written consent of the party sought to be bound; and, specifically but without limitation, money that may become due and money that is due may not be assigned without such consent (except to the extent that the effect of this restriction may be limited by law), and unless specifically stated to the contrary in any written consent to an assignment, no assignment will release or discharge the assignor from any duty or responsibility under the Contract Documents.
